Now that we’ve got the basics out of the way.
I was born in Russia and came here (Canada, BC) when I was 11.5 years old. I do still speak it fluently, though my vocabulary is not nearly as varied as it is in English. I could probably fix that if I did more reading in my native language, but sadly these days there is not a lot of time for reading.
I’ve always loved preforming, and went to a Waldorf Education private elementary school which had plays as part of the curriculum, as well as music, and other integrated arts. It was based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner who believed in a more humanistic style of education. It had a great influence on me and taught me that being happy, choosing to do what fits YOU as a person is OKAY, and a job does not have to be miserable. Sadly I know many do not have this choice, but I will at least try to follow my heart as much as I can. I am fortunate to have this opportunity, and I am thankful for it every day.
On my spare time I enjoy writing. I write fiction, diary entries, blogs, non fiction, and I probably spend a quarter of my day texting. It’s kind of my thing.
